Calm Kids – for ages 7-11

Discover this program:

Delivered over six weeks each class has a new set of content based on topics such as gratitude, resilience, managing emotions, friendships and more. Sessions include a game or creative activity before sitting down to discuss the week’s topic and exploring new techniques to help calm the nervous system, for when difficult emotions arise, followed by a calm and relaxing meditation.

During each session your child will have the opportunity to share their experiences and all children will have the chance to support the others with their newfound skills.

Program structure

Week 1 – Understanding emotions and sensations and introducing mindfulness and meditation                          

Week 2 – Self-awareness and acceptance. Dealing with thoughts, people and difficult situations

Week 3 – Awareness and gratitude

Week 4 – The foundations of health and friendships

Week 5 – Communication, react and respond

Week 6 – Boundaries, respect and resilience

Empower Me – for ages 11-17

The EmpowerMe program is delivered over a period of six weeks which encourages teens to become confident and empowered individuals through self-reflection, personal growth and discussions on managing emotions, gratitude, health, and more.

Week 4 – Gratitude

Week 5 – Small talk

Week 6 – Acknowledge, accept and release

EmpowerMe – Regular Workshops

Fun & Educational Workshops include:

• Beauty Therapy – to teach young people how to care for their skin and appreciate natural beauty

• Personal trainer – encourage young people to move regularly to improve and maintain a healthy body and lifestyle

• Nutritionist – learning the basics in nutrition and food hygiene, we will be cooking meals and teaching young people how to create meal plans, shopping lists and budget for food shop

During half term and summer holidays we provide a safe and fun environment so the children can come and express themselves with arts and craft, games, sport and then relax with a calming guided meditation. Our classes feature fun and creative activities, mindfulness exercises, and discussions on confidence, self-worth, empowerment, and compassion.

During each session your child will have the opportunity to share their experiences and they will all have the chance to support the others with their new found skills.

Our workshops are for individuals to take part in discussions on a range of topics and learn new information on health, wellbeing, life and worldly matters. We invite outside organisations to provide talks and fun activities. Each session ends with a relaxing mindful exercise or meditation.
